Breathing, Mindset, and Cold Baths: A wellness experience in Oman

Posted on January 25, 2025January 25, 2025

If you’re in Muscat, Oman, and looking for something different on your travels, have you considered participating in a breathing, mindset, and cold bath workshop?

I’ve done a cold bath in Oman workshop twice with certified level 2 Wim Hof Method instructor Thomas Kleefeld, and each time, I’ve had more energy and focus.

Below, I’ve included some benefits, insight, and booking details.

Benefits

Kleefeld explains the many benefits of breathwork, mindset, and cold baths in Oman:

‘It is good for the circulatory system, helps reduce stress, and can improve one’s sleep.’ ‘It can also reduce inflammation.’

Breathing

At the beginning of the workshop, Thomas will take you through the fundamentals and explain how these sessions can benefit someone.

When it’s time for the breathing session, Kleefeld guides you through four rounds. Each person will react differently, but I felt lighter both times.

It’s hard to describe the feeling, so you need to book a session to feel the experience.

Mindset

Kleefeld continues to go over the fundamentals of the next part, which is mindset. He gives you a few tasks to show attendees how important mindset is.

After taking 20 breaths, participants practice push-ups and another task involving balance.

This technique will show how powerful the mind, combined with breath work, can allow someone to accomplish anything.

Now it’s time for the hard part: stepping inside the bath. Kleefeld will guide and help ensure you stay at ease.

He reminds you that the goal isn’t about how long you stay inside.

In my second cold bath in Oman session, I aimed to remain calm and breathe slowly while sitting in the bath.

Afterward, I had so much energy and focus. After warming up, participants talk about their experiences.

Recap

I recommend this cold bath in Oman session for anyone who is stressed, needs more focus, is recovering from an injury, or wants to learn about this fundamentals workshop.
