Mindset Journey

Posted on May 1, 2021

I have learned over the past eight months the importance of mindset. Before the pandemic began, I was never into meditation or paid much attention to the laws of attraction or even took time out to learn about these concepts.

But suddenly, I was working from home, could not travel, things were slowly closing, and I seemed to have a lot of extra time on my own. I decided I was not going to sit around and feel sorry for myself. The entire world was going through this, but I was lucky because I could still travel around Oman and besides a few two-week curfews, it was manageable.

My friend introduced me to this 21-days to abundance with Deepok Chopra so I accepted this challenge. After about day 3 I was not sure if I could continue because I was having a hard time concentrating on the daily meditations and the daily tasks. But I stuck to it and completed the 21 days and I started to feel really good after learning a little about mindset.

Then in the summer my friend sent a link to a yoga challenge. This group also offered a self-image 30- day challenge so I decided to try this one. It was all about becoming the best version of yourself and getting rid of a lower paradigm. In other words, the negativity around you that prevents you from reaching your goals and learning the tools needed to get out of this pattern. The man running the program, Dr. Spencer Pool was amazing and so positive and encouraging.

He invited me to join his week-long live Facebook session where he would explain how to achieve goals by understanding the things that are preventing this from happening. At the end of the week Spencer gave us an opportunity to join a program called Thinking into Results. This program sounded like I needed it and I did not care about the cost because this would be a lifetime investment into myself. Dr. Pool is now my mentor and I have learned so much from him. I am so grateful to this group who have become another family to me.

Thinking into Results is just what it sounds like. It is getting the results you want by learning how to remove the blocks that are in your way. As we learned, I am the problem and the solution. It is all about the law of polarity. And yes I live abroad, I have traveled to many countries and have had many experiences. I also wrote a book about my time in China, but along the way something happened. I was an over thinker, worrier, took forever to make decisions, let outside factors that I cannot control affect me and constantly doubted if I could achieve some of the goals I wanted to achieve.

This program has changed me as I continue working on becoming the best version of myself. Although it has been a short, I have seen transformations in my life. I have noticed even the small things such as the way I react to situations I cannot control. I am still learning and have a long way to go but this is a start. TIR has now led me to a new opportunity to help others achieve results through mindset, nutrition, and fitness.
